Below is a list of approved liver transplant programs, listed from most active to least active, together with the total number of liver transplants performed in 2001, the most recent year for which complete information is available. The totals for 2000 are included as a point of reference.

The year 2001 is the second year for which separate statistics are available for living-donor livertransplants and cadaver liver transplants.

Keep in mind the possibility that programs may have started, expanded or contracted significantly since this data was compiled.
