3 Centers Picked for AbioCor Heart Trials in Europe

AbioMed, whose pioneering AbioCor artificial hearts have been implanted in five patients in the United States, announced selection of two more centers to participate in its European clinical trials scheduled to begin in the next six months.

The Heart Lung Center Utrecht in the Netherlands and Lund University Hospital in Sweden have been added to the earlier selection of North Rhine-Westphalia Heart Center in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany.
